Letterfinlay is a third-generation family food business based in Fort William, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.

What started as a family business serving the Highlands has grown over the years, but food is still very much at the centre of what we do. Today, our team includes experienced butchers, fishmongers and our own smokehouse, preparing and packing food from our premises in Fort William.

We work with trusted Scottish suppliers and estates to bring together some of the produce Scotland does best, from quality Scottish meat and Highland venison to cheese, deli produce and traditionally smoked fish.

​Our Letterfinlay Sliced Smoked Salmon has been a firm favourite with our customers for many years.

Carefully hand sliced and packed by our team in Fort William, it has become one of the products we're best known for. Over the years, it has been sent all over the UK, ordered for everything from family breakfasts and special occasions to Christmas tables and gifts for friends and family.

FROM THE HIGHLANDS

​Our butchery has always been at the heart of Letterfinlay. From everyday family favourites to carefully prepared steaks, roasts, game and our popular meat boxes, our experienced butchers prepare orders here at our premises in Fort William.

Being based in the Highlands also means we're fortunate to work with local estates and trusted Scottish suppliers, sourcing produce with a genuine connection to where we live and work.

Highland venison is an important part of our range, alongside quality Scottish beef, pork, lamb and seasonal game. We believe in knowing where our food comes from and building long-standing relationships with the people who supply us.

Whether you're ordering a box for the freezer, choosing something special for the weekend or sending a taste of Scotland as a gift, our butchery allows us to offer much more than a standard mail-order food range.
