Letterfinlay is still a family run Specialist Food business supplying hotels, restaurants and private customers throughout the Highlands & Islands of Scotland. We offer Scottish Beef, Lamb, Venison and game from our butchery. Our fishmonger supplies fresh Scottish salmon and shellfish as well as traditionally smoked Scottish salmon. Our delicatessen department offers our own traditionally smoked wild venison, Argyll ham, Lorne beef, smoked chicken and duck not to mention some of the finest Scottish farmhouse cheeses on offer, complimented wonderfully by our range of Highland oatcakes and biscuits.
We have the distinction of being one of the few remaining Highland smokers who use the traditional methods of smoking. Prime cuts of wild Scottish Venison, Beef and Pork are smoked gently over oak logs, following an old Highland recipe, producing the finest smoked meats.
Letterfinlay Smoked Salmon is smoked at our Corpach smokehouse, overlooked by Ben Nevis, again using only traditional methods. Thus our smoked salmon is lightly smoked and then sliced by hand to retain the full flavour of our excellent Scottish salmon.
