Ardfern Black Pudding
A traditional Scottish black pudding made in small batches in the beautiful village of Ardfern, Argyll.
Ardfern Black Pudding was created by chefs Derek Muircroft and Rob FitzPatrick after an idea sparked during a fishing trip on Loch Craignish. The pair set out to create the perfect traditional Scottish Marag Dhubh, researching old Scottish black pudding recipes before refining them into their own recipe.
Rich, well seasoned and full of character, Ardfern Black Pudding has a great texture that holds beautifully when cooked. Perfect as part of a traditional Scottish breakfast, served with a poached egg, or paired with scallops for something a little more special.
Made locally in Argyll and supplied to us here at Letterfinlay, it's a cracking addition to a Scottish breakfast and a lovely example of a small Scottish producer doing things properly.
